If I had a nickel for every time this happened I would have two nickels. It’s not a lot but it’s weird that it’s happened twice.

Always such a lively event over here when my toddlers hear a plane overhead.

Both kids rush to the nearest window, they start climbing the furniture to get the best view, and the dialogue is just fantastic.

The people at the top live off those at the bottom making money and laws to keep themselves up top — you can’t lose the game if you’re the one to set the rules. (social conflict theory) When those on the bottom start to get restless, give them an issue of their own — divide them in groups to set them and watch as they slaughter each other. If one group speaks up, don’t worry they’re next. We can break them apart with a smile. I’ll sleep fine at night as others bleed and die cause I’m fine — who cares about those others? They can’t reach me up here

Wrote this poem about social conflict theory in my first sociology class back in 2018. I think it’s apt even now.
