Arvid Lindblad sounds extremely 15 years old on the radio
cool and informative new graphic
"Deploy" is blue while in contrast "Recharge" is blue
It would also be nice and good if he kept it out of the wall from here and just did it the normal way
I think it would be very fitting for Kimi Antonelli if he somehow wrecks twice on the same day on the way to his first career win
I fully endorse this. I also endorse making an all pro LMP2 ELMS class where you have to stock one Theo Pourchaire type per car.
When the Persians rolled up at Marathon:
Well thatβs fun at least
I donβt think either winning an F2 title or getting an F1 seat have much to do with being a good overall racing driver, but I do think that anyone who does both is very likely to be an awesome one.
(Not that this version isnβt fun in its own dumb way, of course)
F2 with an Xfinity Series like class of random race winning adults that never go away would be a very fun series. Too bad itβs a garbage factory for supremely talented and/or rich children instead!
That being said, Hertaβs first F2 weekend had been alarming so far in all the same ways Miyataβs F2 career has been. I think this says very little about both IndyCar and Super Formula. I also think both drivers, knowing their OEMs probably donβt care at all, probably arenβt worried about it.
Is F2 simply better than IndyCar? No of course not lmao itβs F2 you guys have seen an F2 race right
This is a moot point because I doubt this is particularly true between two F2 cars, but still important to note.
The Super Formula car is also famously very different. Lawson says itβs more like the F1 car than the F2 car. He also told me in an interview that he thought Miyata struggled in F2 in part because itβs such a step back from the Super Formula car.
The same IndyCar engine/chassis package has changed radically three times. Thatβs why Fernando Alonso gave up on it, he liked racing the current aero spec without the screen but hated it with it.
This is extremely not true
Although Iβve heard the same on the jump from the last F2 car to IndyCar from Fittipaldi and Pourchaire too. Could easily still be true if this one, I just donβt know of anyone else whoβs been in both yet.
Different F2 cars
And as far as I can tell, Herta got that 27 Cadillac seat on a Sauber sim four or five years ago. Itβs part of why I think Bearman looked so bad: why would he bother fighting every week in F2 when he knew his future was proving himself to Ferrari in the Haas, a more complicated and daunting task?
Sure, but thatβs the entire list of recent promising F1 drivers who got seats by looking fantastic in F2. Itβs just that one seasonβs champion and runner-up. Leclerc and Piastri also killed it, but they also won in everything else on the way up and proved themselves to be elite well before F2.
I still think Miyata is better than most of these guys and heβs lost in year three.
Thereβs also a reason they usually take rookies who finish sixth though. Itβs not that F2 results matter, itβs that F1 teams have to put their entire academy in F2 every year.
The World Baseball Classic rules because I get to see some terrified guy walk in runs until he gets to the top of the order of an all star team
Mick Schumacher in IndyCar while Colton Herta is in F2 feels like a foreign exchange student program
It sure looks like Mercedes pole, Ferrari leading into 1 to me
Ow
I would like for the least and most British person on the British World Baseball Classic team to meet in front of a camera and discuss British things
The British WBC team is starting a guy named Gary Gill Hill. First name Gary, last name Gill Hill.
Every single IndyCar qualifying session should be single car with Alex Palou going last
