yeah i don’t think it was made to purely spite them either. i oversimplify because i’m shitposting. it’s clearly a big budget what he wanted to do. i do feel it’s in conversation with all types of fans though. one of the many metaphors at play is a creator angry at their own creation.

Durch den Traum (2006): Listening! Don’t remember much about this so it’s strange to come back to it and find a direct extension of Hexenwind’. But we’re getting weirder + more dark folky. Space. Black metal+dark folk+whispers on ambient soundscapes. First real piece rips.
