Oil tankers (red dots) stuck, at anchor, either side of Strait of Hormuz. A few tankers in this snapshot, 0100 UTC Thursday, underway (red triangular shapes). A few bulk carriers or container ships are traversing the Strait.

Lovely shot from METEOR M2-4 this afternoon around 2 PM PST. Raw shot shows black signal droput lines. Gemini Nano Banana 2 refused to tackle the image correction so over to ChatGPT. Image 2 shows the first correction attempt. Img 1 shows additional contrast and saturation.

Using MLA-30+ loop antenna, @SDRplay RSPduo tuner (it is also doing double duty on 20 m WSPR), SDRuno for tuning, RX-SSTV for decoding.
Base station for aircraft/ship tracking, weather satellite signals decoding, amateur radio, especially WSPR, FT8, SSTV, APRS, satellite telemetry. Big screens feature HamClock for signals propagation and space weather conditions.
Best yet! METEOR M2-4 at 2 PM from a high-angle pass for Metro Vancouver. You see the "after" and "before" shots, after that is Google's Nano Banana 2 took a shot at cleaning up the dropout lines.
