Phew, still safe
I'm on android and not having these issues π€·π»
A lot of what I do is kitchen witchery, and many of my utensils, tools, pots & pans belonged to my Grammy. I feel especially connected to and protective of her wooden spoons.
A blue eyed person prominently wears a black, grey, white, red, and pink plaid tartan wool scarf wrapped about their neck, covering their face from the nose down. One end of the scarf hangs down over their plum colored sweater clad shoulder, showing a small wooden tag with the capital W logo of the Witches of Scotland pinned through the corner. They wear a periwinkle hand knit hat, with turquoise and black curls covering their forehead. They stand in front of shelves containing plants and trinkets. A few small framed art prints and photos on the walls, along with a cat mask, and art stuffie.
Been having a pretty shit time lately, so it was really lovely to receive my #WitchesOfScotland memorial tartan scarf in the mail today, that my mom pre-ordered for my birthday in Nov.
The symbolism is very meaningful. Handwoven in the highlands. A connection to ancestors.

Yeah! My kid was obsessed with it, definitely contributed to my path away from vegetarianism
Thanks
I think my last time must've been over 15 yrs ago, when we still lived in Oakland and sometimes got goat sausage at the farmers market
It's been ages since I had goat
By the time I was 21 I had a feeling I'd feel better hormonally balanced if I had a little more T, but you couldn't just ask a Dr for it. It took 20+ more years to learn that I already had elevated androgens from PCOS, & to find balance and relief on low dose T. My life could have been less painful
I'm 46 and nonbinary, I knew at age 14 in the 90s, tho I didn't have the words for it. I had deeply considered whether I was a trans man, but that didn't feel right. So I just continued being a bi Tom boy weirdo until the language caught up. It took ~30 years to get access to T and chest reduction
I'd imagine Really Good Stuff, on Division, would have a selection of lovely antique ones
I don't know what a campaign to become someone's mom looks like, but I'm pretty sure you'd still need to say convincing things to get that person to vote for you. To be their... mom?
I've never hit the add to cart button so hard or fast before π³οΈββ§οΈ

Love the vibrant colors
That reminds me that my first group of toddlers, from when I was still in college working at the campus childcare center, are turning 30 this year. Not that I'm in touch with any of them but the one friends' daughter that lives here....
Gods that makes me feel old
I think every FB group goes through it at least once. I've seen it in herp husbandry groups too. Usually during Pride season. Suddenly the Maga crowd is shocked to find out what a queer hobby it is, and get themselves banned. But I suppose I haven't seen companies get dragged into it.
A carpenter for Pratt & Whitney (maternal)
A factory worker (paternal, died age 47)
Carpenter, factory worker
10/10 no notes
I'm nonbinary and definitely over cis white women predominant (crafting) spaces, the more gender queerdos the better. As others said it also depends if I know other people there or not, and how large the group is.
Even old accusations are just advance confessions
Relatable
One of the misinformation talking points from centrists on Covid is that Covid activists and anti-vaxxers are the same.
I want you to think of any other rights movement where the centrist position has been βugh, these people on the far ends are both so noisy, theyβre the same.β
Is it all of them?
Absolutely, should be social media 101 to check out who you're retweeting, people often share things from people they disagree with, but make it clear. And if this was staff running his account, maybe hire more savvy people
Am I the only one who thinks it doesn't look like he's agreeing with the guy he retweeted? Like, Peters says Rs & Ds want war with Iran, and Platner looks to be saying it sucks that Rs & Ds agree on wanting stupid war that's stupid.
I'm all for scrutinizing the f outta him after the tat, but...
@zohrankmamdani.bsky.social we need you to step up
I mean, I assume in the middle of the Depression they'd have been using old clothes or sack cloth to quilt with.
Even today I only use scraps from garment projects, and avoid buying new fabric (other than backing).
Conversations in my head:
Fine, Nervous and Digestive systems, I'll make tulsi ashwagandha tea instead of more caffeine... π hope you're happy
