I've been working on an asset library and a hybrid 2D/3D artstyle using blender and animate and I sort of have to start from scratch now. This sucks.

I've been using flash/adobe animate for about 15 years now. It's never been through legal means and my cracked version won't go anywhere when they pull the plug, but it'll make collaborating with other animators the way I have been impossible.

Oh, they're killing off Flash? Don't worry, there's still (lists a bunch programs that aren't as good as Flash)

Hey heads up - if you have a legit pre-Creative Cloud key and want to migrate back to Flash CS6 or earlier because you HAVE to stay in the ecosystem, be aware that you WILL need to crack your copy to reinstall it now- Adobe disabled the pre-CC authentication systems, they now just forward to upsell.

I keep seeing the “reminder don’t use Adobe here are the alternatives” image going around and folks, the problem is not just that Adobe sucks, the problem is they’re blocking legal access to decades of art files utilized by individuals and entire teams
