I'm pretty positive that the uncanny valley is just a natural aversion to dead or diseased humans. corpses and dying people have a general "off" that visually translates to other things that are humanoid but "off".

REAAAL. also blend modes are great and all but it's very useful to be able to know what colors exactly you should be using for shading instead of always relying on blend modes, it will translate to traditional art and other creative stuff too
