Pardon my ignorance, I’m not great at Bluesky yet but I’m assuming you’re referring to the copper? I use Krylon Crystal Clear spray. I give it a few very light coats and that seems to do the trick!

Two very wonderful friends of mine both commissioned jewelry in celebration of their 25th Anniversary. The fun part was neither knew the other was doing it!! Of course the theme was hot pink!!
It has a bit of oxidation because that was back in 2003, but I still love it.
I love Aubrey Beardsley. May years ago, in art school, we had to make a box-type of structure so I made this. It has a shelf and drawer
Thank you 😁
I use Krylon crystal clear spray. I hang the piece outside using wire and give it a few light coats.
The Original Copper Wing Cuff. She shimmers beautifully and wears like how I’d imagine Wonder Woman’s cuff do. You can definitely feel the weight of the layers of heavy gauge copper but somehow it’s comfortable and empowering.
Thank you so much
Handmade copper wing cuff
Side view of the copper wing cuff showing the fiery layers of patina. I’m in love with the colors a layered liver of sulfur patina can get on copper.
I have always loved working in copper! They way this material takes patina is second to none!! Sure it takes me forever to get the layers of color like this & yes I can find myself obsessing on the layering only to sand it all off and start again but it’s so worth it! This patina glows once sealed.
It’s always so hard to let them go!
Work in progress. 18kt yellow gold surrounds a diamond an platinum halo
The prettiest light pink round tourmaline rests inside the platinum and diamond halo. I’m test fitting the parts before soldering together.
A glowing red lump of platinum cooling on a ceramic block.
Repurposing an old Platinum ring into a new necklace. Here are a few process pics for your viewing pleasure:
I created an 18kt Yellow Gold sleeve to fit around the Platinum and Diamond halo then melted the original Platinum mounting so I could roll it out and create this scallop detail.
Oval vivid, royal blue sapphire bezel set in an 18kt yellow gold diamond halo mounting.
Side view of an 18kt yellow gold Oval Royal Blue Sapphire Ring. The underside of the ring has a wave design paying homage to the beach where this couple loves to spend their time together.
Where are all the #goldsmiths at?! Been struggling to find other #metalsmiths & #customjewelers. Who do you recommend?
Below is a 3+ carat no heat, gorgeous, Royal Blue Sapphire set into this hand carved 18kt yellow gold & diamond mounting. These clients bonded by their love of ocean waves & beach.
I absolutely ADORE this gem cut by Tia of Pebblesprout in Australia. I created a Lotus design in 18kt yellow gold, set with diamonds to display this incredible stone.
Kite shaped peridot set in a hand carved 14kt yellow gold and diamond halo mounting.
This necklace is reversible.
Here’s the finished necklace!! My Client told me he went from “Zero to Hero” after presenting his wife with this birthstone necklace. I made both sides of the pendant interesting in their own right so the piece can be worn either way.
Trying to figure this all out, guidance accepted and appreciated :).
Hand carved wax all ready to be cast in 14kt yellow gold
Now that it’s cast in 14kt yellow gold, I cut seats and raised beads for setting the halo of diamonds.
Test fitting the peridot before assembling the chain.
This is my first post on here so please bear with me!!
I’ve attached a few early steps in the process of making a Kite Shaped Peridot and Diamond, Reversible Necklace.
That detail is fantastic!!
