Turning Red, Hoppers, and these? Never thought I’d see so much Asian American representation from a major studio, but I’m not complaining! I hope Ono Ghost Market involves Obon. Kubo and the Two Strings had Obon, but that didn’t do well.

Seeing #Hoppers on Sunday with my folks. They almost skipped this in favor of Toy Story 5, but I convinced them to try an original movie and that early reviews are almost unanimously positive. Will QRP with my thoughts because this could be an Elemental thing with good word of mouth promoting it.

I don’t understand his logic when he was a decent singer in Wonka. Sure, that’s a different type of music, but as a former band geek who listened to many types of music and even had to watch several musicals, this seems out of touch.

I only know him as young Willy Wonka in the Wonka prequel. He’s a good singer.

You’ll definitely be able to here compared to Twitter. Every time a sequel trilogy movie has an anniversary or a sequel era character gets the spotlight, the replies aren’t snarky like “Still a bad movie” and so on. Look how much attention this got with no negativity.

I want sequel fans to be able to share their love for these movies. I want TLJ fans to be able to say how much they love it without the grifters targeting them. I want to be able to say that Luke in TLJ is my favorite character in star wars

My parents asked me about furries after seeing the episode. I’m not a furry, but I respect the culture and I’ve gone up to bat for them because they get a bad rap. I’ve told them that most furries I’ve seen would wear just the head and maybe matching paw gloves for hot days.

This is the best furry representation in media in years.
Plus, free advertising for @anthrocon.org on a present day multiple Emmy-winning show that is watched by millions.

You know what really grinds my gears? Every comment section for lightsaber fights saying they’re “bEtTeR tHaN tHe sEqUeLs.” They say Disney doesn’t care about the lore and yet the lore says that era of formal training has been long over. That’s why Acolyte’s looked flashier.

Just got out from seeing #Hoppers, I had been skeptical of Pixar as of late but was pleasantly surprised with this one. It’s chalk full of fun and hilarious moments that kept my interest throughout the film. 8/10 in my book 🦎

I’ve tried to talk to 2nd Amendment bros regarding how it was written when it took like a minute to reload your gun, but then they point to the Puckle gun. That’s a bad faith argument, right? They also don’t have any propositions of their own to stop the mass shootings.

Or that the new canon is inconsistent. You can have that argument, but I argue it’s not as inconsistent as before the 2014 canon reset.

I got into Star Wars when I was about 12 or so. I was disappointed that Revenge of the Sith could have been the last Star Wars project I ever saw in theaters or it could have been the last live action Star Wars project. I’m just happy that we’re getting this steady stream of content.

When you point out Lucas saying he made Star Wars for 12-year-olds, they get really mad. Now they’re finally saying it’s for everyone. It is very much possible to like media in which kids are the target audience that can sometimes say something deeper. It’s why Zootopia is so popular.
