Cis men often feel intense attraction towards fetishized others that they are subjecting to discrimination and oppression.
In some ways, destroying our rights makes us *safer* for cis men to be attracted to, as they desire the imbalance of power that lets them control and own their fetish objects.

And most importantly, it is a rebuke of hopelessness. The US's appetite for endless war, the horrific genocide of Gazans, and countless other events can crush us. Our day to day is filled with hateful systems designed to rob every penny while life spirals toward an inevitable end.
Where is hope?
It's about being the side character in someone else's story. You can't change everything alone. You can't fix everything alone. The universe will always be bigger than you.
If you are to be forgotten by history, do you still matter?
It's about AI's wholesale commodification of our humanity: the assimilationist effort to compress self-discovery into something people can snort and forget.

The letter notifies the recipient that due to the enactment of Senate Bill 244, all Kansas driver's licenses and IDs must reflect the holder's sex at birth. It states that the recipient's current credential will become invalid immediately upon the law's publication on February 26, 2026, with no grace period. The recipient is directed to surrender their current ID to receive a new one matching their sex assigned at birth. The document concludes with instructions on how to appeal the notice if received in error, along with contact information for the department.
Kansas is sending letters to trans people telling them that their licenses will be revoked as of tomorrow and that they risk arrest for driving on a suspended license.

It's an ad for a bookshop Q&A with Aaron Baker and Robin McCoy, taking place at the Lavender Bookshop, Sunday the 22nd of February at 2:30 pm. It features fun, plump typography and pictures of the candidates. Aaron is a tall, pale-skinned redhead with thicker glasses and fluorescent green hoops. Robin is also pale, with long brown hair in a sidecut and smart, business-casual attire.
