Also login pages that ask for just the email and then on the next page for the password or sign in method. At least in some cases these seem to be related, for a few of these they let me choose between magic link or password after entering the email. Just so much more complicated...

Version 0.34.0 of the gradle-maven-publish-plugin finally comes with configuration cache support. Dropping support for Sonatype OSSRH unblocked us from waiting for Gradle to resolve the underlying issue on their side.

Yeah I was surprised when I first read the announcement and would have expected the end of the year as a shutdown date. From the plugin perspective I kind of hope they won't delay but I agree that they might end up doing it
Yes, we'll just point to a static local directory or to the snapshot host depending on the version but we can make that decision at the end of the configuration phase. Would have been nice if Gradle resolved this
With the release after this Sonatype OSSRH support will be dropped, which will allow for some improvements. Most notably there will finally be full configuration cache support
I published 0.33.0 of the gradle-maven-publish-plugin. It prepares form the impending shutdown of Sonatype OSSRH, comes with initial support for the new com.android.fused-library plugin, as well as some minor improvements.
