Alamo used to be the best cinema there was, amazing atmosphere, indie movies, classics, live events, etc.

My favorite Robert Redford acting trick is that he would clip off the end of a line the audience already knew the end of, pause as if thinking, then start the next line as if he was interrupting himself. It's why his acting feels so naturalistic. He feels improvised while not shitting on the script.

Ever think how insane it was that the Bond franchise named a henchman with steel teeth “Jaws” two years after JAWS came out? That’d be like calling Dave Bautista’s SPECTRE character “Mr. Babadook.”

Nothing like watching LETHAL WEAPON for the first time in 20 (??) years and realizing Danny "I'm Too Old For This Shit" Glover's character is five years younger in this film than I am right now.

Dave Franco and Alison Brie are great--and brave--in TOGETHER. Horror movies work when you care about the people. This one works.
