Déjà-vu? The CSDDD trilogue agreement is out, and it feels like December 2023 again. This was the last time that this news broke. Only that this time, it's the culmination of a massive deregulation campaign, backed by the far-right, to gut this very law before it even started applying.

Last week's vote on Omnibus I dismantled the CSDDD and took the side of rich multinational companies and the far right over at-risk communities, workers and human rights defenders.
The EU Ombudswoman has now found that the process was rushed, opaque and corporate-driven.
This is unacceptable!

She has found that the @ec.europa.eu committed maladministration when it prepared its Omnibus I and 2024 CAP proposals to roll back key environmental protections.
