This print is a linoprint titled "Promise of Spring" by the British printmaker and artist Rachel Knowles. The artwork features a close-up, stylized depiction of snowdrops in bloom, pushing through what appears to be a layer of melting snow or frost at the bottom.

Rachel Knowles is a printmaker based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. Her work begins with observation: seed heads in winter, the first snowdrops pushing through cold soil, flowers moving gently in the breeze. Rachel is drawn to the calm order of plants and the reassurance they bring, even in winter.
