Trump criticising Starmer doesn't mean that Starmer isn't trying to suck up to Trump, it just means Starmer is an idiot for doing so, and that no matter how much sucking up he does, it'll never be enough. There's no actual evidence of Starmer growing a spine and meaningfully standing up to Trump.
Urgh. I try to avoid listening to Trump, but when he talks about the UK it paints a clearer picture for me of how wildly full of shit he is. No matter how much Starmer sucks up to him, it will never be enough & given the above, it's baffling that he tries. We need a PM that can stand up to Trump.
