Know how Tolkien talked about "Cellar door" being an especially beautiful sounding English phrase?
Well I just told my wife I'm about to watch Ghoulies on Tubi and nearly fainted.
"Ghoulies on Tubi." Mmm... Beautiful.
Give it a spin, feels great.

I cant stop thinking about this old Tumblr post. As a long time teacher, I can confirm this artwork is still everywhere because we were still using materials that were there when I was a kid. This art style wasn't allowed in my classroom, I've always loathed it haha

literally your customer base was 90% parents of young children who want a good future for their kids in which they can be free to be themselves, no matter who they are. you told those people to go fuck themselves. they won't be back

Goodbye, Sweet Starr
I'm heartbroken to say, our beautiful girl, Starr, has left us.
Tried to write some words about my sweet dog, you know, for closure, but wow, it's tough. I included a bunch of nice photos.

Not even saying I want to see them fall or see anyone get hurt. Just when they fall it can look cool too and they ought to be rewarded for really going for it.

Over 50% of game developers now think generative AI is bad for the industry, a dramatic increase from just 2 years ago: 'I'd rather quit the industry than use generative AI'
The latest GDC survey also found that managers are more likely to use generative AI than their employees.
"Our standing rule is: If one of us brings up using GenAI in any of our work, then it's safe to assume we've been assimilated by The Thing and should be burned alive by Kurt Russell," said a game design consultant in the US.

Ending this operation is not enough.
We need justice and accountability. That starts with independent investigations into the murders of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, economic restitution for businesses impacted, abolishing ICE, and the impeachment of Kristi Noem.

YOUR POEMS
Surprise
by Annie Thompson
You never know who you might come across when you nip to your local Co-op just down the road.
Picking up some fruit and veg, I moved along to the cooked meat fridge, where some delicious cooked ham caught my eye.
But someone's standing in my way.
Excuse me, I say.
This "young" lady turns around, my mouth drops open, "Oh my goodness, I say, well, I never expected to see you here today."
"How are you?" I say
"how are you?" she says, both speaking at the same time.
"Wow, how long has it been?" Around 18 years or so.
Where has all that time gone? 1 reached into the fridge to get some cooked meat out, not taking my eyes off of Lynn.
Whilst catching up, I noticed a
"young" man standing by, listening on, it's only her hubby Tony, he's smiling and laughing away.
Oh my word, I can't believe this, I say.
Well, it's a bye, bye for now till next time we have a shopping catch-up in our local Co-op mini store just down the road.
Take care you guys, my forever friends, Lynn and Tony.
Our current favourite poet Annie has written another poem about going down the shops, yet no mention of her friend Trish and her shopping trolley (a euphemism for Mr Trish if ever I saw one).

The only things I buy on vinyl are drone metal and jazz so sometimes it takes a while to tell if a record is skipping or not.
