We never said specifically, but I assume Lucy was around/near the same age as Ben in each episode.
(sorry for the lateness of this reply)
But on "Ready to Rumble", it was a standalone story so they never sent me other scripts/outlines to read. If there had been something that needed to track over multiple episodes, I would've relied on the head writers Klein/Pugsley to give me any info I would need.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for the kind words. As for your question, on Ben 10 I didn't have access to the other episodes (except "Big Fat Alien Wedding" because I wrote that one). On some shows I've worked on, I'm given the other scripts/outlines so I can help connect my story to the other ones.
Discussion tonight in the locker room at beer league hockey: "Who'd win in a fight - Nickelback or Mariah Carey?"
Consensus was Nickelback, but don't underestimate Mariah - she could definitely throw hands.
Merging high art (comics) and low art (Shakespeare). The expressions/poses in each panel. The food's acting, stabbing itself in the head with a fork for its performance. The breaking up of the monologue. The punchline.
Inspired me when I first saw it. I still like to look at it and be inspired.
Calvin and Hobbes. March 6, 1994.
Wasn't long ago that no one knew/cared what posters were on the wall by my desk. Now thanks to Zoom and Google Meets, everyone sees everything.
This is what that others notice most on my wall: my favorite old Calvin & Hobbes Sunday strip.
The Bends was released thirty years ago this week.
And it wears me out.
Mine was Lawrence Kasdan's THE BODYGUARD.
HEAT. And of course MAJOR LEAGUE. All respect to Jobu...
We never said. When I wrote it, I assumed it took place on another planet, but that's not official or anything.
When I wrote them, I assumed that their mom was an alien, but that's just my speculation. I don't think it was ever said officially one way or the other.

FINAL UPDATE: Owners of the photo identified! They did not lose a home in the fires, but did evacuate. Possibly the photo was lost during that. The photo will be returned to a family member shortly. We are very happy to be able to see it back home. Many thanks to those who spread the word.
This photo was blown into our yard during the Eaton Canyon fire. Anyone from Pasadena/Altadena recognize these people?
Hold up. Did LACFD just send an evacuation alert to EVERYONE in LA county?
I don't think his origin was ever officially established, so Derrick and Duncan are likely correct.
Sorry. Good question, but I have no idea.
I know it's early in our relationship, but I love you Watch Duty app.
Please stay safe everybody!
Alas, I didn't write that episode. So your guess is as good as mine.
We all laughed/cried/barfed as we said the words⦠HAPPY NEW YEAR to you, too!
The joke all year was βsurvive til β25β. Well we did it - we survived. Now letβs get out there and make 2025 unforgettable.
My favorite text exchange of 2024 was with @kevinburke20.bsky.social :
-βAt this moment, Iβm staring at Final Draft trying to figure out if <fictional monster name> is supposed to be capitalized or not.β
-βWe are grown men.β
-βOur wives may argue differently.β
