INTRODUCING: Welcome to "Rigby", a new little girl who is cute as a button! Rigby comes looking for friends after having lost her sister. She is super sweet. Can anyone recommend a new BFF? 🩷

INTRODUCING: Welcome to "Tucker" (M) & "Coco" (F), two new arrivals at the shelter. These two are super sweet, very timid on intake. We'll have a better assessment after they get acquainted with their new environment.

INTRODUCING: Welcome to "Rocket" & "Sky Lord", two new boys to join us at the shelter. They are friendly and very snuggly. We will be getting them UTD with distemper vaccines, then ready for adoption .

INTRODUCING: Welcome to "Moose", who arrived yesterday. Moose has been returned to the shelter by no fault of his own. Moose is now 4 years old and looking once again for his forever home. If anyone is looking for a single to stay a single, Moose might be your man. 🫎

ADOPTION: Congratulations to Jamie & Family on their adoption of "Sweet 16 - #13", now known as "Peanut", companion for "Pistachio". We are so happy that this guy finally has a real name, and a new buddy.

[For anyone tracking, there are just 2 of the 16 remaining at the shelter from the original.

UPDATE: "Marvin" had been recently adopted by Ava and Peter. As a senior, adoptions are not as prevalent as potential new owners always want the young ones for ill-founded reasons such as "we want the animal to bond with us" or "we want them to grow up from the start with our family.

ADOPTION: Congratulations to Shelly and Annette on their adoption of "Peanut Butter" & "Teddy Bear". It was a hard decision, as we currently have so many to choose from. These two were the lucky ones. Yay! ❤️

INTRODUCING: Welcome to "Lola", a new single female. She arrived at the shelter 6/8/25, just in time for her 1-year birthday celebration. 🎈🎂🎉
She is adorable, so friendly and playful. She now has two best friends, "Tonka" and "Nosferatu".

ADOPTION: Congratulations to William and Leah on their adoption "Leroy" & "Streak". These two are lots of fun and very entertaining. The third ferret pictured is "Otto", the cuddle bug. They are considering returning for him but further approval was required. 😂

ADOPTION: Congratulations to Anna & Family on their adoption of "Minnie", companion for "Bandit", "Roscoe" & "Zivo". Everyone got along wonderfully. They loved her from the start! So happy that Minnie has finally found a forever home. 🏠❤️

ADOPTION UPDATE: "Sia" was adopted 4.5 years ago to John and June. At 6.5 years old, she's still a Momma's Girl. She is one of the luckiest ferrets ever. 🥰

ADOPTION: Congratulations to Austin on his adoption of "Diablo" & "Zorro", companions for "Bandit". Bandit had recently lost his female companion to DIM and he was in need of fuzzy companionship. We worked several hours to get this group socialized.

ADOPTION: Congratulations to Anthony & Family on their adoption of "Ellie" & "Maya". These are two spectacular girls. They came into the shelter independently as singles during the same week, each having lost their former companions.They have been inseparable since. Double trouble, for sure. 😄❤️

UPDATE: "Phoenix" is a single male looking for a friend, as he recently lost his female companion. He is playful and super handsome. Would anyone know someone interested in speed dating with Phoenix?

INTRODUCING: Welcome to "Bandit", a new arrival this morning. Bandit's owners are being deployed to Japan, so Bandit needed a place to land. He has already gotten along with all 3 other ferrets that we've introduced him to at the shelter. Bandit would make a great companion ferret. Any interest?

ADOPTION: Congratulations to Sarrah on her adoption of "Aloe", "Vera" & "Ziti Noodle", companions for "Rosie". These are our raw meat eaters. Due to dietary constraints, these kids have been repeatedly overlooked. Sarrah has agreed to continue their diet so they retain their current excellent. ❤️

HOLIDAY CHEER: Today we took 2 ferrets to visit with Kristi. She had adopted Calypso, Piper, and Hermes from NRFR six years ago, the last of whom recently passed. Health issues/complications have prevented foreseeable adoptions. Kristi received lots of kisses. ❤️
