Been at Warhammer world. Reckon I’ve got more bloodletters than this.

I am now off work for 10 days for a much needed holiday for my birthday. Tomorrow me and a bunch of club mates drive to Nottingham for Warhammer world and a (close to) sold out event at the TSN.

The following week me, my partner and the hound go away to a cabin by the sea for a few days.

Hyped.

It is 6! Arguably too many dragons and the zombie dragons (once per turn) can teleport which is a nightmare!

Challenge is I don’t think they’ll touch LRL the book hasn’t been out long enough.

Played FEC dragons on lifecycle last night. 67-41 to the dragons. Wanted to play against a tough match up on a difficult map, which is certainly what it felt like.

A few dice things didn’t go my way (no shield of fate due to two miscasts 🙃) but I’d play it differently next time.

This does seem to be the consensus. Requires TO ruling.

Maddie is not wholly on the obscuring terrain and is therefore visible.

Three across a game is madness.

It’s the most fun I’ve had playing tzeentch in a long time. Was tempted to bring nurgle, because that shits busted. But this will be more fun.

Good result with the spiders boss. Saw you got a draw against Damian.

Baleful lords does feel pretty tough. The thirsters are surprisingly tanky. Being able to bring back skarbrand and yeet him in is a bit of a nightmare.

Aaaaaand done. 60 tzaangor ready for the TSN next weekend.

Let me know what you think. Want to pick it up, I’ve not played some of the recent ones but loves 1,2 and 4.

I’ve also had two spawn in every list for swapping units out.

I’ve been playing tzaangor, although I think there is 100% play with the demons.

I started with a core of 40 tzaangor, but am now playing 60. Cursling is great. I think if you go SoG acolytes you’d want the foot magister.

I haven’t played kairos but deffo a place for him.

Running cursling, gaunt summoner on foot (but only because he can take spawns in his regiment) and 2x SoG ogroids.

I think the Fatemaster is great and if I was running SoG acolytes I’d run a foot magister.

I also think the disc magister has play but you’d need to build more into FP generation.

Or will AoS 5th edition go away for Spearhead 2 electric boogaloo? #Justthetip

Played three games with tzeentch since Sunday. Honing the list and tactics. A narrow loss against Battletome Eltharion, a bigger loss against 20 BKs and a win against SCE.

60 goats and SoG Ogroids is very fun and very good. Feel like I’ve got a grip on the army ahead of a GT in a few weeks.

Battletome Eltharion is just fine Rob, just fine.

Yeah it’ll all be 40k for a bit. It’s been a bit crazy, haven’t even got my nurgle on the table. I do enjoy the quick fire books but could do with a bit of calm!

Buy Mo’s stuff.

Been on a course so haven’t got much painting done. But WIP for my second Ogroid.

Decided to paint the skin red to help differentiate between the two on the table. Hopefully can make more progress later in the week.
