Just finished it last night. We really enjoyed it.

I'm excited about some upcoming TTRPGS. Warhammer The Old World - easier system to introduce new folks to the WH setting, tactical combat, Legend in the Mist - super adaptable light narrative system, Twilight Sword - Zelda inspired rules light game with built in campaign and map exploration system.

Baby Tapirs are hands down the cutest animals on the planet.

Looking forward to reading this. I had 6 players for my campaign. It worked OK, but I can see that fewer would have allowed us to go a little deeper.

The first TTRPG I played period was Empire of the Petal Throne, followed by Metamorphosis Alpha and Traveler. I think AD&D was 4th.

Got my physical copy of this and Het Thamsya yesterday, and they are things of beauty!

Have you checked out Warhammer the Old World RPG's magic rules yet? They are pretty similar. The new d10 die pool system seems like it wil be very straight forward and play pretyt fast, while keeping some of the WFRP sim elements and gory wounds.

I love everything Mun Kao does, and I think Kala Mandala is an exquisite little gem of a game with a unique SE Asian flavor and very cool dungeon adventures. Check it out if you like non-euro-centric RPGs and interesting OSR-style dungeons. Highly recommended.
