My D&D players tend to build up stables of ride-or-die allies to take on adventures with them. Then I get to make up crazy stat blocks for them to play with:

We started a 50+ game Archipelago Async because we are crazy people. For my part, I'm opening up with some good ol' Final Fantasy IV Free Enterprise:

It's ridiculous how much better the universe would be if every single Fandom wiki just went down immediately and forever, with no explanation or chance of recovery.

Hello, I would just like to briefly remind everyone that the Water Temple from Ocarina of Time is the best dungeon in the entire Legend of Zelda series.

Put it all on the page. Whatever it is, however much there is. You're going to come back later with shears and clip away the stuff you don't need. But you can't know what you don't need until it's all there, and you can look at it. So get it down β all of it.

Saved By the Flumph! Last campaign, I made the players design a dungeon. Then I waited a year. Then I sprang the dungeon back on their new characters in this new campaign.

George R. R. Martin's The Hedge Knight is not a series of unfinished novellas. It is a series of completed, stand-alone novellas that currently has three entries.
This is an important distinction from his main series. The Hedge Knight is a great low-commitment entry point into Westeros.
Saved By the Flumph is our D&D 5e campaign where the players are currently playing a D&D campaign:

I think I changed my mind, and I actually do kinda hate Portrait of Ruin.
Oh well, at least there's two other milquetoast limp-noodle Igavanias on this collection to enjoy.
I don't HATE Portrait of Ruin. But every second of its bland, empty gameplay makes me want an Igavania that has some real muscle and budget behind it.
Then I remembered that's Bloodstained. A nice reminder that sometimes the timeline does work in your favor.
This is my foam finger from Minneapolis:

Slowly working my way through Portrait of Ruin. Dang, they really did Charlotte dirty in CVHD, didn't they?
Oh wait, nobody remembers CVHD. Lol.
First there was Zelda.
Then there was Zelda Rando.
Then there was Zelda Rando Multiworld.
Then there was Zelda Rando Archipelago.
Then there was Zelda Everythingsanity Rando Archipelago with a side of slaw.

Saved By the Flumph! We're playing D&D inside of D&D. The player characters rolled up characters so each player is playing a character who is playing a character.
Oh, and they're playing The Forest Oracle.

It's a horror RPG for PS1 about a mitochondrial slime monster attacking New York City. You play as an NYPD officer who spends the first level in an evening gown shooting mutants in Carnegie Hall. Battles are real-time but the action pauses while you pick targets. The music does indeed slap.
The current Flumph adventure is the characters playing D&D. So my players are playing characters who are playing characters. Also their DM is terrible and they are playing the worst D&D module ever published.

Now that I've finished DOOM and DOOM II and DOOM 64 and Legacy of Rust, I'm more convinced than ever that difficulty options are accessibility. These games can be brutally difficult, but they get the blood pumping even on Easy β without gating any content. And they did it in 1993!

I just constructed my LEGO Game Boy. My favorite little detail is they included a battery for the Zelda cart that isn't in the Mario one. (Because you can't save your game in Mario.)
I'm leaving this under your tree for tomorrow morning. Merry Christmas, you crazy internet wonderland.

I think what drives me away from most FPSes is they are designed with quicksave in mind. You're supposed to save after each encounter.
You might say "well just don't do that" but then you're stuck replaying entire maps because of a gotcha trap the dev included because they thought you'd quicksave.
DOOM 64 was pretty cool. I had it as a kid, though I didn't remember much about it. It's a neat change of pace, although the levels get quite backtrack-y.
I like how you can find the hell laser and then upgrade it with artifacts from the secret levels, the first of which I remembered how to reach!
My Steam Replay stats are always meaningless because I often have an idle game running while I'm working on stuff, so I inevitably end up with 36% of my total playtime watching spinning circles or whatever.
Tabletop Simulator remains my most consistent game. (That's what I use to run D&D.)
I hope Capcom only accepts robot master designs from kids. I remember back in the day Nintendo Power published a bunch of unused designs for Mega Man 6. They were all crayon drawings and they were awesome.
Actually, just make Mega Man 12 in crayon, please and thank you.
