I see datacenter aim for 500-1000mg total dissolved solids max so nitrates not likely to be the sole issue.

Definitions vary but "undrinkable" is probably around 50mg/L. That's not a lot in non-biological terms. For comparison sea water is 35g/L salt.
Turns out the kids are alright.
Probably have been for as long as there have been kids but we stil get a kick from grousing about coming generations from time to time I guess.
I feel compelled to ask the obligatory TradeMe poor reading comprehension questions.
"Will you ship to the South Island?"
"What colour is it?"
"Will you swap it for a 1998 Toyota Corona and Pétanque set?"
This is an excellent illustration of how the media has little understanding of the how the Green Party actually works. They keep discovering that it is different in important ways to other parties. And then seemingly forgetting.
It does matter because then the median voter doesn't know either.
finally the green party has announced a party list that balances experience with fresh new talent unlike 2014, 2017, 2020, 2023
Rest of World demonstrably wrong once again.
Front page of The Press newspaper promoting some sort of Wellness” publication. Robyn Malcolm looking far younger than her age wearing what looks like a long green nightdress.
And then I get the paper from the gate. I find it hard to believe people use “Wellness” unironically.
I mean I like Robyn Malcolm and I know acting is a hard life but still…
This is the sort of wellness influence I came here for.
It does take people's mind off wealth inequality as we turn our attention to blaming the foreign "other" and not the wealth hoarding Epstein Class.
Often maintaining wealth inequality is mistaken for being "good for the economy".
Certainly people making bombs and flags aren't complaining!
I heard the excellent Kate De Goldi, Te Awhi Rito Reading Ambassador, speak at the Akaroa Readers and Writers festival on Sunday. Her assessment of the crisis in decline of reading for pleasure was _extremely depressing_. Not only kids not reading, but also now teachers and parents.
While facing almost certain relegation.
I know nothing about how this works but can you prompt it to follow the citations back as far as possible in the way a diligent human might?
“Beau is Afraid” one of the more unsettling movies I’ve seen recently.
“Evil Does Not Exist” Japanese movie that’s not takes a turn.
“Memoria” sure to provoke discussion. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Memoria...
“Hundreds of Beavers” would be good, weird break between heavier things.

Can you give us some sense how bad it is?
Luxon is very likely the worst sort of boss - the one that can’t handle bad news. The “internal polls” are likely something underlings have to rustle up to avoid him losing his rag.
Imagine the trifecta if the big one happens tonight. That rash on the neck, shitting himself to death with excitement over murdering Iranians etc.
“She’s filing her nails while they’re dragging the lake”
Femme fatale stuff.
Sounds like I might have turned into a real incell but I did get over it, and with a bit more humility
Also 80s, in my bedroom undressing after an all-ages new wave show where the most desirable girl at my school had looked right through me as if I was totally invisible and kept on talking with 6th form chuds.
I flipped on Radio U to hear the start of this song.

There’s some plausible evidence he may see them as sanctioned by a Higher Power.
Here’s the balance sheet as leaked from beehive.
Total cost of terminal:$2.7B
Value of sticking it to the greenies, renewable energy nerds and libs: priceless.
Final balance: priceless.
I suppose this illustrates the argument that AI will create new jobs as well as eliminating them.
Mostly cleaning up the mess I guess.
Some otherwise quite sensible people are resorting to asking word prediction models for medical advice.
Don’t.
Some years ago a similarly young checkout person asked me what avocados were and what one does with them. They had heard of guacamole though.
I think about that virtually every time I go to the supermarket. It was a particularly egregious piece of vice signalling from a party that has repeatedly shown it puts practically no value on human life anyway.
Newspaper article with headline “Boy spent robbery money in hotel”. Article describes bank robbery by 15 year old in blind wig using fake grenade.
Man Papers Past has a bunch of weird grenade robberies though.
(Press 1988)
Mandela effect?
Or perhaps just not enough digital newspapers in those days.
