idk if this is old news or just a bad set of samples but i expect “He said X” -> “she said Y” -> “he said Z” as the pattern for like, roleplays.

not *prose* or serious writing lol

one thing i’m noticing with AI writing is (or at least with the nyt samples) is consistently starting ideas with “[subject] [verb] [object]”.

while SVO is english’s preferred order for sentences, i keep feeling like it’s simply checking boxes with creation, rather than actually writing prose
