I certainly know this paper and your history with chemosynthetic symbionts! We have Solemya in RI, and we've done a few basic projects with them but I would love to get something more going. Question for #protistsonsky #SymbioSky: what are examples of prokaryotic genera which form mutualistic symbioses with both animals and free-living protists? i know about methanogenic endosymbionts of protists/animals, and examples of pathogenic microbes e.g. with amoeba, looking for more examples!
