the new version of spacecake.ai has a git panel where you can view commits, changes, and diffs!
click the branch icon in the bottom toolbar to open it 😊
alpha v49 is out now 🥳
my top two priorities right now are:
• a git panel to see commits, changes, and diffs
• multi tab support for the integrated terminal
I think those will make an enormous difference for productivity.
the best thing about building a developer tool is dogfooding the product.
I'm acutely aware of what's missing from spacecake.ai, because I use it every day.
every time I leave the app during development, I note what it is that's drawing me to another product.

the CI tests all passed on windows (after some changes) but I'm sure there will be some bugs.
unfortunately I don't have a windows laptop to try it on (except my work one... which is locked down 🥲).

freezing issues for me are normally CPU hogging, or API outages/claude says it's doing something but isn't.
vercel's AI gateway supports this
and there's a panel for viewing Claude's tasks (new feature Anthropic dropped last week)
the editor now has tabs (long overdue!)
you can now automatically open Claude's plans in the editor by pressing ctrl+g 😍
