That's been refuted.

It started as a claim by Sherwin Wu, not Vince - www.reddit.com/r/KpopDemonh...

And the paper that originally reported on it made a correction in which they admitted using AI to translate the article to English - koreajoongangdaily.joins.com/news/2025-09...

The moors keep their secrets.

What he had done was a desecration, but your lips were sealed and the iron grey sky unseeing.

She wailed in the wind. But only you could hear her.

You murmured comfort to her, as you held his head beneath the water, its depths silent and complicit.

Drip.

She thought it was the faucet, but there was no water dripping. Not in the bathroom. Not in the kitchen. She checked both again, under the sinks in case it was the pipes, but no. Strange.

Then, she filled a glass and went to water the bleeding hearts and found the blood.

Drip.

And if they're dead, it doesn't matter.

If she's dead, it doesn't matter.

They're still beautiful.

And they're mine.

Oh, she saved the pieces of the vase. The only thing anyone in her family ever owned that was nice enough to pass down. The vase he shattered in his rage.

She'll carve out his eyes with the largest shard and fill the sockets with the smallest. The porcelain is a prettier blue anyway.

I thought Laura's death meant no one could steal her from me β€” until last night, when that woman was kneeling at the edge of the hole that hadn't been there. And there was Laura, looking like she hadn't been buried in that grave for years, looking up at her like she'd hung the moon.

Hi guys, im so sorry but I need...a lot of help this time. Due to my IIH ive become near partial blind & need new glasses, I cant afford them on my own. I also still need to pay bills. As well start saving for inevitable surgery later this year. Im sorry to constantly ask for help.

I genuinely just don't know what more these people want. We're in an age where non-Ghibli anime films can be box office juggernauts and physical manga routinely does circles around Marvel and DC, all while paying pennies on the dollar for good translation talent. They're cultural rent-seekers, dude.

02.03.2026 08:37 πŸ‘ 166 πŸ” 47 πŸ’¬ 2 πŸ“Œ 0

Anyway, pay your manga translators (and everybody else involved) a living wage and give them royalties, for fuck's sake. You're bigger than ever and can afford rates many times bigger than the 90s on the bestsellers topping the fucking NYT charts. Embarrassing you refuse to take care of your own.

02.03.2026 08:24 πŸ‘ 185 πŸ” 59 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

If translation *alone* took six months, the pay rate would be so huge, it'd eclipse the golden years of the 90s and every manga translator I know wouldn't be juggling 10+ series. But no, it's one of the quickest, cheapest parts, for worse and for worse. You're drawing blood out of a stone, dinguses.

Visitors had come all week, allegedly to offer condolences, actually to try to convince her that her brother’s casket should not be open. It would do no good, they said. They meant that she should keep her mouth shut, keep the secret.

As if he couldn’t tell what had happened himself.
