On the wall of a building in downtown Auckland, a giant painted hand holds a sphere reflecting a distorted view of the background - one of an urban locale and of the artist. โHand with Reflecting Sphereโ by local artist Paul Walsh. This mural is located on a building wall near Karangahape Rd (a/k/a "K Road") near Auckland CBD. The artist was inspired by MC Escher's self portrait (1935) and so tipped his hat to this iconic work.
