Very cool! I was a Blockbuster guy for the longest time. Worked on the Danforth, the Beaches, and Bathurst & Lawrence locations.

It really was. There was a great used bookstore there called BMV (Books Music Videos) that I still miss to this day 😭

It’s hard to see in the pics, but I bought a hank of Madelinetosh sock yarn from Simply Socks because I’d heard good things about it, and the dye is coming off on my hands.

I’ve never had that happen before with any yarn, either mass produced or from indie dyers 🥴🧶🧦

Funny. I’m the opposite. I started off using Chiagoo and then discovered Addi and love them even more. I still use Chiagoo, of course, but if they’re available I’ll chose Addi 9/10 times.

I’ve yet to try two-at-time but it’s on my list of techniques to experiment with this year.

As an English knitter I found them too fiddly to hold, and there seemed to be an excessive amount of laddering despite me tightening stitches. Just not for me.

As someone who has knit #socks with DPNs, magic loop, and tiny circs, I decided to give Addi FlexiFlips a try in the interest of science.

After #knitting 15 rounds of K2P2 ribbing and an inch of stockinette, I can officially say they’re definitely not my favorite 😂 🧶 🧦

My wife got me this #sock set for Christmas and it just arrived today as a belated gift. Can’t wait to see how it looks when I start #knitting it up 😁🧦🧶
