Waiting for approval on the App Store
So today I satisfied my urge for developing a new iOS app. I have really streamlined my development process: less than 5 hours to develop v1, the corresponding marketing website and submission to the App Store. Now hoping it will be validated 😊 - this will be my 16th iOS app 🤪
So Bluesky’s version of shitposting should be called shitskeeting? Hard to get rid of the corresponding mental image.
Thanks for the suggestions 😊 - not really looking to build on atproto right now, I’m more in wait & see mode for this. I would rather build a small utility app for iOS or something like that.

I don’t get this policing thing with idiotic unwritten rules. Love the one where you’re supposed to put a content warning if you post a selfie whilst looking directly at the camera. I don’t do selfies but I’m really tempted. Maybe some people will explode as if they had looked directly into the sun?
The amount of fake follows I get every day on here reminds me very much of early Twitter days with users using automated follow for follow strategies to artificially grow their following. BUT the blue bird has been replaced by a blue sky, which l’m confident will literally change *everything*.
Yes - this is an issue with Chromium. See later comment with several bug reports for Chromium + Windows. We’re not happy with adding yet another dependency with electron-edge and do a C# bridge for this I’m afraid.
Not all Chromium versions are born equal ;)
Wouldn’t have expected less from you 🤣 - I was actually not referring to Clubdeck at all - which uses the default Chrome picker ; you can happily blame them (and while I’m at it, Windows, which is frankly a good pile of crap overall)!

I’m curious as to how you can confidently say that the main distribution channel of Clubhouse was twitter? Are you referring to people tweeting out the rooms they were attending? Most people have clearly no idea where Clubhouse’s audience was/is (hint: not the US). Spaces didn’t “kill” Clubhouse.
I disagree - they didn’t out execute Clubhouse. The Spaces product is still largely inferior, including for audio quality vs Clubhouse. They just had the « influencers », user base and crypto bros to make the product take off. Not the features.
