My uni won’t break down the learning outcomes for one of my modules for me so I can understand them as the lecturer finds them easy to understand so I should too! Ummm that’s not how it works. That’s ableism and a failure to provide reasonable adjustments!
That’s a shame. I think it used to be like that here too but our council seem to have widened their criteria a lot. We have clients with bipolar and other mental illnesses who get it now.

I’ve actually done the same. The beds in premier inn and their breakfasts are so good that some times I arrange a cat sitter and spend two nights at the nearby premier inn. My friends think it’s weird but it gives me the break I need with no responsibilities.
Good plan. My GP surgery normally just send me fit notes when I request them as I always give reasons when I request them. Hopefully they won’t need to see you.

Definitely. I couldn’t find her guilty beyond reasonable doubt. There’s too many areas of doubt for me. But that’s not me declaring her innocent, as that’s not the same. Only she knows that.
Not sure what that is or where it’s from but my opinion, based on what I’ve seen, is that the conviction isn’t beyond reasonable doubt. You’re entitled to your opinion as well.

My cousins used to go with my aunt on a Saturday when she delivered parcels for catalogues(many many years ago). She made them run to the houses with the parcels. They loved it and would get McDonald’s as their payment 😂 Not sure it’s legal now though (or was back then)

It was disgusting and I won’t be having it again, but I promised my manager I’d try a whole small can. She has one everyday and has a drawer full of them 😳 It was coconut and berry flavoured apparently but didn’t taste of either! 🤢

I think one of you need to speak to your mum about what she is expecting. Why is she asking for an expensive present? Does she normally do that? I’ve never heard of an adult doing that before. It’s the kind of thing a child would do. Surely some chocolates and flowers would be ok?
I started action against Longleat Safari park for refusing me a companion ticket because I didn’t have an access card. They settled out of court. There is no requirement under the Equality Act to have any sort of card to get reasonable adjustments.
