The answer is because different formats have different rules, which has always been the case.

Hybrid mana absolutely behaves at a prerelease like it does in commander because the only commander change is in deck construction - which doesn’t apply to preres.

It plays exactly the same after you shuffle up.

I can get behind the "set it and forget it" approach.

With so much flavor overlap needed to be on-theme for a character, they all blend together and ultimately undercut the impact any single card would have. Even if they had restraint enough to stick to two.

But I'm not memorizing 5+ just slightly different versions of a character - IN THE SAME SET.

If cradling is fair game in bracket 3, draining feels entirely valid to me.

All 10 seasons of Stargate SG-1 are now streaming on Netflix, for the first time in more than three years.

I think all the interesting stuff us in the bonus sheet or select commander cards. The main set just has no appeal for me at all.

I liked TMNT well enough while younger, but none of this just leaves me uninspired.

Just finished it. There's SO much to like about this film.

Makes me wish I still had the old comics. They added a ton of additional lore and culture and this feels right at home in those stories.

And such a great way to keep Alien and Predator universe connected.
