Spent some quality time in the studio this weekend; it’s been a while! This is a piece in progress, oil on canvas, 16”x20”.

Had a nice coffee shop morning chatting and drawing with my daughter.

Happy to get a couple hours in the studio this afternoon, working on some teeny little oil paintings.

K and I made some adjustments to our record shelves and found a bookshelf to house our music-related books. They almost all fit, hahaha.

It just breaks my heart. I’m more than happy to pay for a monthly subscription if that were an option, but it doesn’t sound like they’re going to entertain that idea.

I’m so incredibly sad. I just can’t believe it.

Some sketchbook pages. Lately I’ve been doing tons of drawings in colored pencil, and I’m enjoying the spontaneity of it.

Haven’t had much time in the studio these last few months, so when I do manage to get some work done it’s mostly on small pieces like these. All are oil on board or canvas in various stages of completion.
