Ahhh I was there too! Bought last-minute resale after 1.5 years of trying for tix and it was the best money I've ever spent. Most magical night ever.
Every minute of drafting is brutal but I would revise all day every day.
Things to remember if you're a first-time author:
✨ One sentence at a time is still progress
✨ Plotter or panster, every first draft is messy
✨ Progress doesn't always mean word count
✨ You do NOT have to write chronologically
✨ Always remember what drove you to write your story
