All day today and the majority of tomorrow, at least a couple of hours on Wednesday, and possibly a couple more hours on Wednesday or Thursday are all nonwork-related side quests. It's going to be one of those weeks.

I have too many things happening this week, so I'm not going to be able to make it.

It took the Post Office 5 days for my package to travel 127 miles, but they are an optimistic bunch. It left Denver at 10:28 this morning, and they say it will travel the 800+ miles to my city, and I'll have it by 9:00 pm tonight.

He's 11 weeks old. I think he's about six pounds. He loves to play, especially with my shoestrings.

I've always struggled with this time slot, going back to when it was FreelanceChat. It's right in the middle of my morning. If I get going on something, I'll lose track of time. But hey, I got two tasks done this morning, so I'm going to be ok with it.

I saw the "generate your digital doplinger," where you gave AI a bunch of info about you and created your image. I was surprised how many jumped on that. Social engineering is crazy to watch in real time.

A3: No...instead I will give it a summary. So, it starts (and ends) with me, but I only use it for outlines or to have it edit what I've already written. Having it create something for you is always a bad idea, imho.

A2: I haven't run into that. Maybe. I ran that experiment for myself a few years ago and found it was easier and faster to start again than to try and edit AI-generated content. More than likely, that's what I would do if that situation came up.

A1: It's been noticed and seems to be highly accepted in my industry. AI is a tool. I think the best description I've heard of it is that it's a probability machine. Whether it's a benefit or detriment is going to depend on the user.

A1: My website is the central point. I have newsletter and I'm narrowing my focus on social to three channels. I might layer in fourth as the year goes on but we'll see. Trying to do too much can be as bad as doing nothing at all.

A2: It's really easy to let marketing fall through cracks because other things are happening. I'm taking my own advice and focusing on consistency on when I market and the messaging. I'm also narrowed my focus one where I'm marketing as well. Purpose and intent are critical.

A3: Marketing isn't a faucet you can turn on and out come the clients. You don't have to do it everyday but it should be the campaign that never ends. It needs to be consistent and messaging needs to be clear. It's helping you build your reputation.

Nobody knows your business better than you do. I look at every marketing post and article I write as something to think about because unless I'm sitting down with you and talking about you're doing, I couldn't possibly have a clue what might work for your specific business.

It's a little early for tomatoes. They will be planted in mid-March, which is good because I need to finalize what varieties I'm growing. But I am planting pepper this weekend.
