I am really impressed by how well my Minecraft server runs with Folia. Like 2% of resources used to host 10 players in different places, 2 players spawning new chunks. Render distance to 32, sim distance to 16.
I wanna try CanvasMC today. Hoping it fixes some issues.

Hey all, I have a science and technology question- is it a faux pas to hook up with a younger colleague? Is it more of a faux pas if that colleague then asks to work with you on one of your projects?

I made an antenna out of a bunch of speaker wire that went out the window and was draped over a tree branch, so I could watch public access and low budget channels from out of state...
I also did the same as you for Fox and UPN.

My colleagues, some with masters' in engineering and computer science, think it's perfectly fine to have a Wi-Fi security system "because it's not like it's protecting the Louvre," as one put it.
The recent Louvre heist bypassed their security. Like.... How do I even respond to that?

I have new friends through work, running a 24/7 Minecraft server, and so on. Also stuff I can't talk about (not bad, really. A good opportunity for others) but that means I spend less time on social media.

Idk how I did this, but I thought my Minecraft server was running a Xeon W-2133 processor with 32GB of DDR4, but I was actually running an i7 7700 with 16GB of DDR3.
I have no idea where that first system went, so I dug up an i7 10700 and 64GB OF DDR4. And 6TB of SSDs.
