Oh hey itβs #PortfolioDay!
Iβm Stieven and I draw prehistoric stuff.
(And dinosaurs (which Iβve always loved) seemed like an ideal subject for practising that.)
It kinda backfired in the end :)
At the time I was trying to figure out a style/way of working that was a bit different than what I was doing all the timeβ¦ I wanted something looser, quicker, something that did not require to much thinking or prohibited me in some way from focusing to much on details, perspective and so onβ¦

I do the same thing⦠:)
But for these weirdoβs I was wondering if there was (closeish) modern approximation.
Question for the paleoartists:
What do you use as reference material for animals like opabinia, anomalocaris and other weirdos? Besides fossils and other peopleβs interpretations I mean.
Theyβre pretty hard to wrap my head around.
Thank you so much Raven!
Thanks!
Excellent! Thanks Asher.
