Fun commission project I just finally finished, a Starfleet-styled TARDIS! Inspired by Voyager and DS9, with a full set of custom LCARS stickers.
Only have 3 more commissions until I'm done with all my orders from last year :) Next up is the 1:4775 scale Covenant Assault Carrier!

I thought about it, definetively the entire trailer has TV show lighting. Maybe it's as simple as that.
I feel it in particular with the mantellian savrip and the alien that talks to Grogu. For some reason they remind me more of the Gorn from SNW than something I would expect to see in a Star Wars movie.
I don't know why, but the aliens in The Mandalorian & Grogu feel off to me. I don't know what it is. I don't believe it's the CGI, although maybe the fact that the past 5 Star Wars movies have avoided CGI aliens so much make them feel like TV show aliens in my mind.
Just imagine for a moment if it actually was the first movie in color and nobody knew coming in the theater.

I believe Tony Stark and Maverick would be the only two characters that are positive and US born characters in that video.
Particularly funny that many characters in that video are characters that were not born in the US or directly villain/criminal characters.

When you think about it, Wedge Antilles is the Original Glup Shitto.
He is the first background character that any mainstream audience wouldn't remember that appears in something else that fans would say "Hey! That guy is back! He is my favourite!"
Part of me wonders how Disney animation would have gone if Sleeping Beauty was a hit and 101 Dalmatians wasn't as much. After that point the studio leaned too much on funnier, hip, smaller movies with xerography animation. I would have loved to see this epic and gorgeous side of the studio flourish.

That is so amazing. I could stare at all those logos for hours. I particularly love the rebel, imperial, naboo, etc logos and that you made two different sets of question marks.

I'm still surprised, considering how much Star Wars stuff Disney is producing in the last 10 years, with so much nostalgia for the Original Trilogy, that there is barely any stories (outside from the comics) during the original trilogy.

looks like there was a little bending in transit but nothing broken, im super happy with the detail and quality on these - cant wait to clean em up and get em painted! 😊
The bent parts are very easy to fix with no risk. Get warm water, sink them for a minute and you will be able to bend them straight with ease.

I always have a tough time with luminosity, I always get them brighter than they should.
I'm also bad with blue hues. Even when I see the result I think I got pretty close but get a bad score.
