Itβs the BAFTAβs. The BRITISH Academy Film Awards. I can assure you that almost everyone involved is asleep right now.
Intersectionality stays kicking yβalls asses.
I see people are talking about Lady Snowblood and that makes me happy.
The streets are calling me a lover boy.
Finally modern audiences will get to experience what Star Wars was like before they got an Englishman to dub over Alec Guinnessβs New Jersey accent
Iβm watching a TV show β several episodes in β and three times in the last two episodes, the characters have halted the drama to deliver a PSA about the HPV vaccination, practically straight to camera. A disclaimer came up on screen and everything!
All my homies hate the Cowardly Lion.
lol
Whatβs with all this talking and politics? Geralt should be fighting monsters!
I hate to tell you this but the Witcher books are not the games. The show actually has far MORE monsters than the book ever gives us.
I always find Witcher Netflix discourse so fascinating.
People will scream and wail that the books arenβt accurate to the source material β which, to be clear, they arenβt β but the things a lot of them are complaining aboutβ¦ are the parts that actually are accurate?!?!
If you see this, post a vampire that isnβt Dracula.

The timeline has stopped talking about The Hunt For Ben Solo so Iβm gonna need you all to step your game up.
I live for what I hate: praise.

Mentally, Iβm still here.
β you get the sense that you yourself are a time traveller. The film itself is a fracture in reality - stuttering, glitching, and distorting.
Britain is in decay. Britain will decay. Britain has decayed. The dark ages loom large.
Thereβs a moment when Jodie Comerβs βIslaβ looks upon the βAngel of the Northβ β a statue that will remain long after herself β and remarks that this makes them βtime travellersβ.
As the film intercuts between footage of Britainβs past, real and imagined, played over by Rudyard Kiplingβs βBootsβ β
Poster for 28 Years Later.

Your answer to this question will colour your judgment of the entire film.
Iβm gonna need a Danny Boyle Attack on Titan movie, ASAP.
here's the thing about using Gotham and then Odyssey clearly repeating Oppenheimer's campaign (the posters are more than strikingly similar).
this is to:
- *get away* from both films being "period"
- clearly establish these as *Christopher Nolan*. He's an IP in his own right.
Made the mistake of watching a clip from Sense8. Now I might just need to rewatch the whole thing.
