Page 59 of DWM. Go buy it if you want the rest.
Looks like DWM have *finally* stopped referring to The Daleks as "The Mutants (aka The Daleks, 1963-4)". Decades of tradition and stubbornness bordering on the anal, now over.
I think we need a minute's silence.
You're not selling it to me. ;) I'm fascinated. Who's writing it?
14 episodes. Six hours of pleasure.
Impossible. Also I don't want to watch Witless Silence, because no aliens or explosions.
I saw. Slightly sad I never made it to Cardiff but also baffled it lasted this long. I'm sure chunks of it can be preserved elsewhere. It was fun, but I'm not sure I'm that fussed overall.
It's WORLD BOOK DAY, so here's a 10% off voucher for any Black, Silver or Gold Archive (or any other book on the Obverse website, actually).

Itβs uncanny
Inside Daleksβ time machine, Daleks gathered around a robot duplicate of Hartnellβs Dr Who.
βUnderstand? Of course I understand. Iβm to hip-hop, the hippie to the hippie the hip, hip-a-hop and you don't stop rockin' to the bang, bang the boogie, say up jump the boogie to the rhythm of the boogie, the beat. The rhythm of the boogie, the beat!β
Yeah I just did it straight through; the app version doesn't have the track numbers
Three quarters of the way through the four separate stories of You Are The Doctor, too. Quite enjoying this one. Good variety.
It's comic froth, which is nice, but I was actually in the mood for something a bit more serious, and Skull of Sobek was *slightly* more serious. Ish. And then Lady of Mercia which is the best thing by far, deserved its recommendations. History was what I wanted, yes.
Got to listen to a lot of Big Finish today as I was on envelope stuffing duty.
Max Warp: oof, this is a product of it's time, which is only yesterday logically, but actually eighteen years ago, and the Top Gear in Space vibe does have a good payoff... but not sure if Gen Z will have the patience
Writer and artist clearances to sort too, given it would be a first time physical or digital media release
I think the assumption is that *some* people know it's a missing episode, but there's no point telling anyone else until it's been scanned and checked. Could be missing chunks. Could be vinegared to death, even if it was. Presumably they'd want to release it when announced, which means...
There's nothing more to it yet. They identified a huge collection which definitely had a Doctor Who in, but we don't know which one. It might well have more in. That we knew in October - but now we know they've definitely secured the collection.
After all this, hopefully it isn't a dupe print!
The conversation about the Doctor Who is on the Facebook page, as others have said
Most of my childhood was all about Cosgrove Hall animations. Dangermouse, Count Duckula, Wind in the Willows and quite a few more. They were *the* giant of the British TV animation industry. So sad they folded (I don't think it was Doctor Who's fault)
I would be annoyed. I think Planet of Giants is shit and we already have too much of it. I'd swap it for a bit of Highlanders in a heartbeat. ;)
Very excited by any episode of Doctor Who they find, but my excitement will be greater with some and tempered with others.
Tenth Planet 4, Web 3, Moonbase or Invasion episodes; I know they're wanted and sought after, but I can live with the animations. Even the rubbish Web 3 one.
Making a big thing of having a trans character but are a glorified walk on for a hello, a hug and nothing else, or undermining your first female Doctor with a secret female Doctor that does *nothing*, apart from undermines your first actual mainline black Doctor *as well*.
Oh yes. But not everyone that doesn't like recent Who is a not my Doctor type. It's (with unintentional but amusing irony) not a binary.
Quite frankly I wanted it to be powerfully, angrily woke, not the milquetoast right-wingery of Kerblam, or fridging your Asian leading lady, or...
Glad you liked it. But to be fair you said "*everyone* loved it till the finale".
Story & Engine went nowhere, Interstellar was... Fine but slight (and almost everyone seems to misinterpret the ending so at best they didn't make it clear enough.) The Well was the only outright great one, sadly. Finale was *absolute shit*. Expected more. Better than a Chibnall, but such a low bar.
Sadly not. Robot Revolution was like an extended trailer rather than a story (and fuck the cat bit in the pre credits.) Lux was 75% great and 25% fourth wall breaking pointlessness with no payout. Lucky Day had an obnoxious take on UNIT and a feeble copout for the villain...
A slight mispronunciation in Doctor Who led to this...
When a guy you went to drama school with turns up on George Takei (do not worry, he knows, it's just we British sometimes do jokes... differently to the Americans.)
In βthe coming monthsβ Doctor Who Magazine will have a special comic supplement to continue the story of the Season 21 Collection extra βDestination Daleksβ.
