It's always amusing to see negative feedback on one of my models β like, "This model is awful, I keep failing to print it," especially when it has been downloaded 15,000+ times and received 150+ positive reviews. It's probably not the model's fault! π

I used to use it, but after Bluesky launched, I just gave it up.
The conversion is involved. I've watched the video 3 times already. And yes, the H2D toolhead and bed would become obsolete, which is a bummer. But I'm needing the tool changer more than the 2 toolheads the H2D provides now.
Bit the bullet on a multi-nozzle printer. I was close to getting the @snapmaker.bsky.social U1, but decided to convert my @bambulabglobal.bsky.social H2D to an H2C (Vortek). More flexible, at least 7 colors, Bambu reliability, and I stay in the same ecosystem. MakerWorld points sealed the deal.

Just wrapped up my 3rd Saint Seiya shadow box, featuring one of my all-time favorite characters: Saint Andromeda Shun
This design really pushed me. I wanted to capture all the fine, intricate details, which made it a challenge, but it was absolutely worth the effort.
Two more to complete the set.
preFlight logo. Similar to the Slic3r logo but with light blue and orange color and a rocket crossing it.
Showcase of the Athena perimeter generator compared to Arachne. The perimeters are better filled and more regular.
Table comparing Brick Layers with interlocking perimeters. The mechanism of this new slicer is based on X/Y variations and over-extrusion to compress plastic between the voids while. Brick Layers is based on Z variation. It claims 5 to 15% strength increase.
preFlight is a new open source slicer based on #PrusaSlicer but with deep rework of its internals.

Iβm not sure how many of you are familiar with or fans of the anime Saint Seiya, but it holds a special place in my heart. I watched it endlessly as a kid.
Creating shadow boxes of the original Bronze Saints has been on my to do list for a long time.

Worked on a new design for hours yesterday. Left Fusion open and the PC running, to hibernate, like usual.
Came back to it today and Fusion was closed, which was sus, and now all the work is gone π

Just finished this new Valentine shadow box. The dripping heart and layered colors give it a lot of depth without making it complicated to print.
Works great framed, on a shelf, or as a handmade Valentine gift.
