Nice to see you, to see you is pleasant
Ugh, yeah.
My child's generation had their lives interrupted with covid, back to school and the entire world is beholden to a paedophiliac madman, and we're all here trying to navigate how to make sense of this without filling their heads with despair.
Yeah, good times, felt like real change was within our grasp.
To be fair, we did get hunting banned, but I worry it's gonna be a while before my child's generation has a similar sense of agency or optimism.
Hunt-sabbing, late 80s, we had a beat up old Ford Transit, painted camo with housepaint, grilles on the windows, bench seats down the inside, bag of 'tools' in the aisle. Saved a lot of foxes, perturbed a lot of hitchhikers.
I find this very unsettling, in a strangely rewarding way.
I've been thinking about sausages for dinner except it might actually happen. In fact, they're already on the stove.
The second is better. The extra blobs of 'straight outta the tube' blue slightly diminish the overall impression of pavement pizza.
I'd like them all battered.
Mechanically reclaimed chickens.
"Dems in Congress should act" - Ozymandias
From what little I know about the Kurds, this sounds bad. They were on the ground, fighting daesh from the get go, with women fighters treated as equals. All of a sudden, everyone's groovy with an ex Al Qaeda commander running the show. Goldfish diplomacy.
Focusing on the important issues. You must be so proud.
Yeah, it's a decent selection.
What a load of bollocks.
It would still be funny if you did. Everyone should.
Spoiler:
Cillian Murphy appears at the end, along with Spike and Jimmy Tat, I think that means part 3 is definitely on.
And, like I said, pretty sure the funding relied on part one and part one passed the bar.
Chin-on-chin violence?
I've always hoped this is the case but, as a European, don't really know the truth of it.
I mean, if we were allowed to legally have guns here, I wouldn't want them all in the hands of fascists and it would feel like an obligation to be well armed.
The funding for the third chapter has been approved. I understand it was predicated on the success of chapter one. Clearly, successful enough. Fucking relief for me, I've enjoyed them all (even weeks)
There it is.
Farage and Reform would end our NHS.
Millions of people could not afford to be ill under a Reform government.
No. They've made it abundantly clear that one can't pass on, share, or donate a Nobel. They made a point of this, in a press release, when they're usually very discreet about such matters.
perfect
Don't get me wrong, I understood that it was a compliment, I have no beef with you, it just felt like there could have been a better simile.
But it's good to see someone on her side however they express it :)
I know you meant this as a compliment, and I agree with the sentiment, I just think that she probably wouldn't have liked her protest associated with such a phallocentric notion of what it takes to be brave in the face of patriarchal abuse.
I like this. Reminds me of the idea where, when you find life tricky, you imagine being the protagonist in a film about yourself: try to look interesting and windswept while making sensible decisions to further the plot in your favour.
3rd time lucky?
Tbh, not sure that's reasonable since the first two attempts were theatre, but you get the point.
None of this is true, why would you defend murder?
