I had a long-running gag on Twitter where I'd offer to come to the rescue of some delicious food that wasn't selling well (avocados, Girl Scout cookies, boatloads of European cheese, Belgian fries) and I stay true to my missionβPIZZA SHOPS I AM HERE FOR YOU www.wsj.com/business/hos...

Halfway through business school, and approaching age 30, I fell in love with macroeconomics and asked my professor about changing careers. He told me I was probably too far along my career path to start fresh as an economist. Obviously I should have gone for it. braff.co/advice/f/our...
Each engine also went to some length to explain why the other two were ignorant, short-sighted or just plain wrong.
Maybe think twice before you get real-world advice from an AI chatbot.
I then plugged the flop (it was a good fold) into the engines to follow up:
βChatGPT: my call was still correct at the time, you can't look back
βPerplexity: see, I was right, it was a good fold
βGemini: this just supports the reraise strategy, you needed to bluff 'em out
I play in a fun online poker tournament www.wrgpt.org where today I folded a hand that took a lot of thought. Afterward, I plugged the scenario into the big AI engines to see how they'd play it. I got great advice:
βChatGPT: definitely call!
βPerplexity: definitely fold!
βGemini: definitely reraise!
This is low-key one of my favorite stats of the year, regarding ticketing drivers in NYC bus lanes: "The MTA states that ... just 9 percent of drivers commit a second bus-lane violation after being fined once."

Microsoft Teams says a person is βin a callβ which is abrasive phrasing to this New Yorker who knows a person goes ON a call
That said, the men's finish was amazing! Congrats to everyone who competes today

The New York City Marathon is spectacular for its amateur scale. But the ABC TV coverage hasn't shown any of that, just the pros, over and over. All I want on marathon morning is that great aerial of the masses running over the Verrazzano
I haven't seen the movie yet, but I did have a '93 SE-R, and while it may be a punchline here, back then it was a pretty perfect driver's car. (Pretty specific to use the SE-R, which Car & Driver said "finds gears as if by divine guidance".) maxread.substack.com/p/the-oscar-...
Five Guys email subject line: "We are more than just burgers!" Message shows a patty melt (burger on rye), BLT (baconburger without a burger), grilled cheese (cheeseburger without a burger) and hot dog (π€·...)
It is flat-out ridiculous that I am leading a macroeconomic forecasting contest against 150 other folks including some serious professionals. But hey, check me out (at bottom) braff.co/advice/f/not...
