On January 22nd, we attended a Talent Showcase hosted by the Data Science Institute✨. We were proud to support our #SchmidtAIinSci Fellow, Biprateep Dey who shared his research on Calibrated Uncertainty Quantification for Physical Sciences 📊.

Fellows and the greater AI community took part in a three-day Foundation Models Workshop where they worked through tutorials, collaborated in hackathons, and strengthened their ability to evaluate, understand, and apply AI tools.
One of the year’s high points was our summer retreat, where Fellows immersed themselves in discussion of AI training, professional development, and building a stronger, more connected community.
We closed off the year with a full-day workshop, an immersive experience designed to help the Fellows explore their career aspirations through creative and artistic activities. The day encouraged reflection, and imagination of what their professional paths could look like.
Our Fellows attended a LinkedIn Workshop to enhance their profiles, strengthen their personal branding, and boost their overall professional presence!
As we wrap up 2025, we are grateful for the energy, curiosity, & community that have defined this year in the Schmidt Program💫!
