Material Maker 1.5 (the open source procedural material authoring tool) is now available on itchio.
It has loads of UI updates and a few new nodes that were contributed by williamchange, and a few bugs fixes.

Sort of, yes. Plus having the normal maps yellowish makes sure users ask the question and end up being aware of this, instead of plugging a normal map conversion node into their material and reporting a bug. π
The Output of the Normal Map node is an "internal format" (that happens to be the format used by Godot a long time ago IIRC) that is automatically converted when exporting to Godot/Unity/Unreal. When exporting from the 2D preview or using an Export node, it is necessary to convert the normal map.
It will not be free on Steam.

Believe it or not, but I learned a little bit of Unreal Engine last week.
As you probably know, my gamedev team will continue Little Shadow, the game we created for #GodotWildJam 82. And I started trying to port the base mechanics to Unreal.
