I agree with this. Defiant, persistent, obstinate, and kind actions, service, mutual aid.

It's not the stuff that history books record or talk about, but everyday people can still just say "no" and in many ways, quietly defy cruelty.

It's not flashy, and no one may see it, but try.

I'm working on a long term project that probably won't see the light here for a few weeks at minimum.

Also, y'all really need to chill. I don't mean you should bury your head in the sand, but find ways that you can chill. Process your pain and move forward with intention.

Didn't post this here, but I was supposed to be getting surgery last week. Unfortunately, the hospital had an emergency case come in, and my surgery got pushed back two weeks, so while I am working on things, my life feels like it got shaken up a lot and I'm still trying to recover.

It's unfortunately a misconception that the opposite rotation of the bad guy symbol is the good version. Both versions are used. Depending on the culture, sometimes they mean the same thing, sometimes they mean different things.

So the symbol was a bit of a sacred symbol across the entire world, including in Europe, it was just the most sacred in the south eastern half of Asia. I don't know what it means in other religions, but in Buddhism, it's sometimes considered a representation of Buddha himself.

... I don't think I'll ever have a definitive answer, but for now I'm trying my best to avoid that symbol.

...doing some research that some of the pictures I posted have swastika stuff in them. I'm leaving them up because you have to really really look for it in a very specific way, but sometimes I really don't know what to do.

Yesterday was a lot. Made some cord out of a chain stitch to learn Chinese Knotting. Went to Joann's to find cord because I didn't know where else to go, but all they had was 4 items, all in depression core colors.

So, I learned how to make my own rope! Made 14.5ft of it!

I finished the crop top pattern yesterday! I got the measurements totally wrong, though, and ended up with something roughly the 3rd of the size I wanted. Planning on making another one (with the cabling mistake mirrored), to turn into more of a knit bikini style top.

It also just doesn't work some times, in my experience.
