I've had her since 2018... It won't hold a charge anymore and the power drains even while it's plugged in. And running my art programs? ...Yeah. It's not doing too well... I've tried EVERYTHING to keep the ol' gal running, but nothing has worked... So, obviously, the next step is finding a replacement!! Only... it's REALLY expensive. About $2.5k for the new tablet + the pen after taxes-- this doesn't even include the parts of my setup I'll have to replace bc the new gear won't fit my current one... I tried to get a bank loan... but when you're self-employed and hardly make $5k/year... getting approved is nearly impossible-- even with good credit. My only choice now is to get a loan from my parents OR somehow raise all the money BEFORE she kicks the bucket for real this time. I keep seeing folks say they'll just accept a Teen Friendly account on Discord rather than scan or ID and I don't know if I wanna mass normalize leaving NSFW pals out in the cold yet again. Especially with all the censorship stuff goin on I think we gotta stand with the freaks now more than ever.
