Today we finish with the original art used in the Area 88 promo; it's also included on the back cover. Thanks to the help of the patrons, I was able to purchase these sheets. You can see the original whole art and with SFC' colors ver. that I made. With a few likes I'll be back sooner.
More than 3D boxes. We're always concerned about preserving SFC and SNES arts, even though it's sometimes not easy. Thanks to ads in Japan, we get interesting things, like this two-page ad for TwinBee. I put the two pages together; they'll look better that way, don't you think?
I also have the 3D box set of Rushing Beat Shura, the Japanese version of "The Peace Keepers", thanks to kindly scans from Akane Akiyama. Maybe this have more fans that Fire Pro Joshi ๐, I like the colors in this box.
A while back, I was cleaning up the cover art for the US version of the game Peace Keepers, The (Rushing Beat Shura). I don't know if this cover exists clean, but at least we have a small version for now. I have a higher-resolution version, which I'll post if anyone is interested.
Fire Pro Joshi 3D box, I continue making boxes from original boxes in 3D view, I don't always remember to publish them,if you don't want to miss any you can also follow me on Patreon, there the transparency is not broken not like happens on other sites. Is anyone interested in this?
I mean it's the Pal-exclusive game version cover for the ESP zone, not zone exclusive game, but I always need to cut text to put it in X and things like that happen. ๐
I also have the manual, I think is not preserved. I'll post it next time. I needed to rebuild the cover because it was missing parts. Also, my manual ends on page 11. If anyone wants to send photos to see if there's anything behind it, two collectors told me it's just blank pages.
I was able to get a better source for the Cool World Pal exclusive game and remade it. Here's my old version and the new one. I hope you can tell which is which. And remember you have more content in my patreon, or if you can and want, you can support us to get more things.
Next game, but the box is missing, in case anyone wants to scan it. If not, I'll skip this. This is a version joining parts; it needs some custom pieces to complete. I know that there are a version outside, but I'd like to make it as close to the original as possible until we find it, if it exists
I've also documented all the PAL versions, if you know of any more please leave me a comment and I'll check them out. I only have the japanese, and you? ๐
Here's the complete artwork, you can compare it with the box. I was hoping to get original art prints, but only saw one for around 6,000 yen, I've already spent my budget until August. I'll wait for a cheaper. If anyone wants to help, I can buy and publish. If not, I'll have to wait.
Summary sheet for Capcom's Area 88. This game has several versions. There are some missing and hard-to-find items. I included pictures of known promotional items.
I found this funny, what do you think?
And this is a hint for that we are working now. Easy for sure.
For now, today we end with a Japanese ad for Dragon Ball Z2. This is a cleaned and joined two-page Japanese ad. If you like SNES/SFC and don't want to wait, there's plenty more content on my Patreon. See you next time. ๐ Anything you can leave a comment.
I've been cleaning and fixing the box for the US version of UN Squadron. This is the 3D rendering of the box. Since the transparency is broken here, you can get the original images from my Patreon with a free membership if you'd like. Thanks to Near's scans, I can post this in high resolution.
I was able to complete the artwork too; you can compare which part was used for the box. It was painted by Itahashi Shuuho (Syufo).
And here's the summary of the Japanese version, Karura Ou. Thanks to Akane Akiyama for sharing some scans :). If you'd like to contribute missing parts or better images, I'd love to be able to do this for every SNES game. But some games are very hard to buy. (And the artwork) ๐ ๐
Reconstructed Skyblazer illustration.Unfortunately, it's a mix of some magazines and box art,and the magazine sources weren't very good. I repainted some areas, you can compare them with the image on the side.If you have better fonts and want to send them to me,I'll update it.I hope that you like it
The two upper pictures was used in promotion of the SFC version. The set includes the back cover picture too.
You guessed it at first try, I'll have to make it harder next time.๐๐ ๐
Hi, thanks for taking the time to review and comment. I try to be as accurate as possible to preserve it and see the box as it was for many reasons. I try to respect the real limits in the sides, when you see from front this box, a color line from below can seen, then I included it.
And next month, we'll post something about this game. Can you guess what game it is? Hint: this is the western illustration.
This included the original and whole Gouketsuji Ichizoku artwork, painting by Seijin. I cleaned and remove letter and other elements, and repaint some zone.
This last months I was putting together the preserved files and the data for some games. You can see what is preserved and what not, and if you want help with missing elements. I hope that you like, any comments or suggestions are welcome. Sadly I cannot do this with all games.
Another high quality 3D image of the cover, since I already have the scans of this game. The three blue lines in the upper part are a custom part, I copied them from other images, because my game have a hit right in that part. At least until I can get a better scan. any volunteer? ๐
This is Mortal Kombat chirashi (flyer) for SFC that we are preserved, with many others you can check in our Patreon, and get high resolution pics. Just if you want support us for preserve more of they, and games and other SFC and Snes stuff.
Here is a 3D image for japanese cover for Gouketsuji Ichizoku for Super Famicom. #SFC #SuperFamicom #GouketsujiIchizoku
Hello, the time was so fast, from my last post, but I was cleaning more things. Today it will be like a Gouketsuji Ichizoku special. Thanks to Near's scans covers, I can clean the Power Instinct, name for Usa release, and publish it in high resolution. You can compare with the original included.
