(Ctd) β¦.business of being a writer. I put myself out there for a long time - in a business where itβs not usual to be northern, working class and queer - and itβs an exhausting way to go about making a living by creating. Now I hope Iβm building myself back up. Not sure what comes next!
The four months weβve had our shop open are four months in which Iβve written basically nothing for publication. Thatβs the longest stretch in 36 years as a writer. I guess itβs a break that I was needingβ¦ but itβs also made me realise how heartbreakingly hard Iβve often found the (ctdβ¦)
