A fabricated statement from Nintendo of America's Twitter account addressing a fictitious scenario in which the Earth's oxygen supply is presumed to be depleting at a rapid pace, leaving humanity with mere days to live. "This is Miyamoto. On behalf of everyone who is employed at Nintendo Co. LTD and its subsidiaries, we deeply mourn the countless human lives which will be lost due to the depletion of the global oxygen supply. To anyone who has ever played one of our games, we are eternally grateful to have created long-lasting fun and memories for you. To ease the suffering of families and children across the world, the Mario Kart World game for the Nintendo Switch 2 system will be available as a free download on Nintendo eShop for the foreseeable future. We hope this small gesture of kindness will ease the pain as humanity prepares for a worst-case scenario." The statement is distastefully plastered with logos for Nintendo and Nintendo Switch 2, as well as with a render of Mario from Mario Kart World.
A fabricated Twitter thread responding to the fabricated Nintendo statement. John Default Profile Picture: "No one read this statement and thought it was distasteful? Why did Miyamoto think this would help anyone?" NintenDeen: "Simple: Nintendo is so depraved that they'd exploit a global crisis to boost the player count of the failed Mario Kart World and force consumers back into the Switch 2 ecosystem to boost sales and player numbers."
A fabricated Twitter thread responding to the fabricated Nintendo statement. PlayStation Nation: "What the fuck are you doing falsely advertising sales during these trying times? I went to the website and Mario Kart World is still selling for $80 USD." Kremling Kevin: "If you actually read the statement, it clearly says the discount is available on Nintendo eShop. Meaning the application on the Switch 2 itself, not the web browser version." PlayStation Nation: "Point still stands."
A fabricated Tweet responding to the fabricated Nintendo statement. Isaboner: "Nothing for Switch 1 owners?"
Had a dream that there was global panic about the world running out of oxygen, Nintendo was the only video game company to make a statement about it, and the internet collectively spent its final hours on Earth debating whether Nintendo was being genuine or not
Oh awesome! Other small things... I recommend you run the Hindi script through Google translate!
For the first chapter of book 2, I'd highly recommend taking in that specific chapter in print; the reasons why will be obvious quite quickly--personally, I'm not sure any amount of talent (which the narrator already has in spades) can make that chapter work as audio.
I believe the kindle version is actually NOT edited except for formatting. The audible and website versions are the ones that have actually been revised.
Yes! More specifically, him giving up his magic at the end of The Tempest. Thanks!
Out of curiosity, is this the rewritten version? You can tell with the next Ryoka chapter--if she goes to a dangerous place and meets a merchant lady, yes. If she recites cringey fake C code, it's the old version
Is it because you're at THAT part, I wonder? If you were 2/3rds into it last time, I'm thinking you might be there by now. (if you aren't sure if you're there, you're probably not there)
So glad to hear that! It's a slow burn for sure, but when things get going, it gets quite intense!
Sure, I can promise a LOT of things happen! But it's totally fair if they don't happen fast enough for your liking--if you specifically mean action/adventure stuff, you'll have it by the end of book 1. If you mean colorful character interactions, then hopefully you're finding it's already picked up!
But it is, admittedly and without a doubt, an incredibly slow burn. I can promise you that more--a LOT more--happens (worldbuilding, growth from ALL characters, and actual events taking place), but whether or not it happens fast enough for a reader's taste is, unfortunately, very variable.
The intro takes a while, but the first few hours are definitely not representative of the series! It varies wildly in tone, which makes sense when you consider it was originally a series released chapter-by-chapter, but may turn you off if you expect it to have just one vibe all throughout.
I feel this pitch is gonna make them expect the MC to be a genius mastermind, only to be disappointed when they realize she's a huge airhead π
I've emerged from my Blender hole with my first try at 3d models+paintovers. I've actually been using Blender for a while now for lighting ref, but with premade assets--and I wouldn't paint over other people's models. But everything here is sculpted by myself, so now I'm allowed!
Python was awarded a funding grant, funding grant asked Python foundation to remove all diversity and inclusion initiatives they have.
Python foundation said no and rejected the grant.
If you use Python, send a few dollars to the charity to keep it going. Iβm pushing a dono on behalf of ScamGuard.
Every time someone says she has no character development, or just dismisses the story entirely, I make a painting like this out of spite. "That'll show you!" I say to myself, not understanding entirely how I'm teaching anyone a lesson by making this. Also: sympathy for goblins is NOT her big flaw
Yazdil yes, but I don't know anything about that guy's hand gestures. It's just a general scheming pose thing

Given the people who run this place are transphobic crypto fascists who kick trans women. Letβs promote Gretchenβs work on here for her. She has a new book out. It looks really cool, you should grab a copy and help her out, and also youβll get to read a cool book bookshop.org/p/books/blac...
anyway, welcome to comic books, a fun place to be a lady
100 endings
I've been going down a 3d rabbit hole the last month or two, so I haven't done a lot of 2d paintings. I promise I have at least one more coming that's already mid-progress!

Extremely excited for the inevitable filibuster of Chris Kluwe simply reading out loud the entirety of The Wandering Inn
I wouldn't say the LGBTQ content is "significant" but only because I wouldn't say its straight content is significant either; for most of the story it feels like everyone in the world just forgot romance is a thing that happens
