In my mind the debate of book vs. movie always comes down on the side of book. With the notable exception of “The Princess Bride” proving the rule. At Montréal 2027 Worldcon you can find people who share your exceptions, and probably even more people to argue with about theirs.

We goofed! Montréal 2027 Worldcon today sent our first newsletter and it included an incorrect membership pricing chart for our rate increase January 1, 2026. We have sent out a corrected newsletter with an apology and explanation. We apologize for the confusion.

The finalists of the Prix Aurora-Boréal 2025 were announced September 21. They are the only awards in French-speaking Canada to be chosen directly by the reading public in the genres of science fiction and fantasy.
